How did you and your partner meet, and when did you know they were “the one”?
My husband and I met through work and were close friends for years before anything romantic ever happened. When he left our team, I finally agreed to go on a date with him—and from that point on, everything just felt right. I knew he was the one when I started missing him the moment we weren’t together. We were inseparable, and being apart felt impossible! That’s when I knew this was it.

What was the most special moment of your wedding day?
One of the most meaningful moments on our wedding day was our “first touch.” We decided against a first look because my husband wanted the first time he saw me to be when I walked down the aisle. But we still wanted a quiet moment together before everything began. Standing back-to-back in the chapel, we held hands, talked, and he prayed over our wedding and our future. It was simple but emotional, and by the time we stepped away, we both had tears in our eyes.

How did your bridal shoes play a part in your big day?
When it came to my bridal look, my shoes played a bigger role than just being practical. Shoes have always been a signature part of my style (I own over 100 pairs, and yes, I still need more), so I knew my wedding day would be no exception. My getting-ready look was a dreamy lace and feather two-piece set paired with the Kailee P Satin Slip-On Flat Wedding Sandals—personalized with my new initials, which made them even more meaningful. When it was time to walk down the aisle, I slipped into the Light Blue Trinity Pearl Wrap Bridal Shoes—a perfect mix of pearls and my “something blue.” My wedding dress had intricate details, so I kept my jewelry simple with pearls, and the shoes tied everything together perfectly. Plus, I loved that every now and then, a peek of blue satin showed as I walked.

Looking through our wedding photos, I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The shoes weren’t just a detail; they were a reflection of my style and something that made me feel even more like myself on such an important day.
